One of Northern Ireland’s top comedy acts and a skilled pianist and singer, she recently starred in her own BBC Sounds six-part series Tell Teresa and was previously seen on BBC’s The Blame Game, Soft Border Patrol and Late Licence.

Tell Teresa

Comedians Teresa Livingstone, Gearoid Farrelly and Sally-Anne Hayward solve listener problems with sage advice and specially composed songs.

Tell Teresa

  • Listen Now . Comics Teresa Livingstone, Gearoid Farrelly and Sally-Anne Hayward solve listener problems with sage advice and specially composed songs. This week the gang do their best to navigate a problem involving other people’s kids and discuss when it’s appropriate to give out relationship advice. Meanwhile, a member of the audience has an issue with her workmates – but was it a good idea to ask it while they were all sitting beside her? Also – Teresa performs a song she claims to have written for Adele.

  • Listen Now This week they debate where one should keep one’s toothbrush, question how many shoes is too many (for a man), offer advice for dealing with a trumpeting neighbour before struggling with a question about the smell of a listener’s dead grandparent.

  • Listen Now. This week Teresa recalls the trauma of appearing on The Voice, Gearoid is triggered by a story about disguising the death of a hamster and Sally-Anne is alarmed by a listener’s rather OTT approach to dealing with a partner’s snoring. Also – listen out for Elton John as you’ve never heard him before.

  • Listen Now. This week Teresa lists the reasons she wouldn’t recommend certain diets, there’s an issue with an allegedly ‘ugly’ baby, some questionable tips for a best man and a special song for a particularly hateful hairdresser.

  • Listen Now. This week the gang question whether two rival neighbours might actually end up in a relationship and discuss whether flour is an appropriate replacement for grandad’s missing ashes. Meanwhile, there’s an argument over whether it’s okay to cry at work and Teresa composes a song for the supposedly ‘Nice Ladies’ of Belfast.

  • Listen Now. This week they encounter a particularly unusual problem involving someone spiking their sister’s milk while Teresa responds to an audience member’s question about avoiding nights out with a special song. There’s some carefully thought-out advice for dating in your forties and – inevitably – an entire section of the show dedicated to getting one’s revenge.

Your support helps me keep making stuff, telling jokes, and convincing myself this is a sensible life choice. It also means we’re basically friends now... or at least friendly acquaintances with excellent taste in comedy.

No pressure at all, but every coffee is genuinely appreciated. Thanks for the support!!
